We maintain a strong presence at local livestock selling centres, in particular Forbes, Carcoar, Yass and Cowra. We also coordinate online sales and conduct stud stock sales, as well as implement other effective marketing strategies such as selling over the hook, direct-to-feedlots, and paddock/private sales leveraging our extensive network of clients and industry stakeholders.
In addition to our livestock marketing services KMWL also conduct plant and machinery sales and rural property real estate marketing. Kevin Miller, Luke Whitty, Matt Lennon and Paul Breen
Kevin founded the business in 1982, and his hard work and commitment over forty-plus years have been an inspiration to and the envy of many stock and station agents. Kevin is arguably one of the most dedicated livestock agents in the industry.
Luke Whitty originally joined the business as a trainee in 1996 and has grown a wonderful profile servicing clients across a large area. One of Luke’s career highlights was winning the state and national young auctioneers’ competition at the age of twenty and he is considered one of the best livestock auctioneers behind the gavel.
Matt Lennon is a Nyngan boy with many clients throughout the western area. He is one of the States store sheep experts learning from his father Noel Lennon who was a Nyngan agent for many years.
Paul Breen has worked with KMWL for more than 10 years based at Canowindra as a well-connected local. Paul’s service and support of his clients is second to none and his common sense and professional advice is sought after.
HISTORY OF KMWL
The business was established in 1982 as Kevin Miller & Co in a small office on Lachlan Street in Forbes NSW. Kevin Miller managed the agency side of things while his wife Phyliss carried out the office duties and saleyard paperwork.
Through hard work, perseverance, and a bold vision, the business has continued to grow. These days the agency is known as Kevin Miller Whitty Lennon & Co (KMWL) and is a recognised and successful brand that has grown to be one of leading private agencies across the Central West, Central Tablelands, Southwest Slopes and Western NSW.
With agents based in the surrounding districts of Condobolin, Young, Cumnock, Canowindra, Carcoar and Lake Cargelligo.
