Forbes Cattle Sale

Forbes Associated Agents yarded 1722 cattle. Quality was mixed with prime grades along with a large proportion on plainer young calle and cows. Prime cattle prices were dearer with little change for the plainer cattle. Prime yearling steers sold 5 to 7c better and the heifers were up to 10c dearer. The feeder steers fell by 15 to 20c a kilo for the lighter grades, heavy steers were 10c better and the heavy cows sold by up to 6c dearer. Plainer cows eased compared to last weeks sale.
